He rocks dancefloors well into the late morning. And his enthusiasm for the tracks is evident in every set. With an incredible and varied background in music, Chris Wren truly has an ear for sound, and the talent to work it all night long, bringing a fresh and versatile spirit to the decks wherever he plays.
Fusing together elements of deep, dark and progressive house and trance linked together by percussive tribal currents, Chris takes his stylistic cues from UK masters Tom Stephan and Tim Lyall and South Beach House-God Eddie X to create a groove uniquely his own.
In the first part of 2002, Chris, collaborating with Mochi Pop under the monniker Nepotism, lended his remixing talents to Jungle Red Records for a forthcoming release of "I've Got the Music in Me", by dance-diva superstar Erin Hamilton. An original track is scheduled for pressing as early as May 2002. As a composer/mixer, Chris has spent years both as an artist and as a engineer mastering the tools of creating and manipulating sounds. He's written music for several television and radio commercials, and scored short films. An accomplished classical pianist, Chris has performed in recitals around the country both as a soloist and accompanying major instrumentalists.
A love for the party and those who do, brought Chris to the decks, and keeps him coming back.
